With the release of Version Control, this week's Art of Agile Development excerpt, I'm proud to announce that the entire text of the Releasing chapter is now online. That marks the second chapter to be entirely uploaded, and the thirtieth practice (out of 37) to be put online. I think that's pretty cool.

My intention, by the way, is to keep these practices up indefinitely. My main motivation in uploading the book is to provide an in-depth resource online that people can link to when discussing Agile practices. That's what happened when we had our online review of the draft chapters, and I always regretted breaking those links when we took the review copy down. So this time, the links are staying up for as long as I can make it happen.

Next week is... my vacation! (Yay!) So no excerpt next week. The week after that, I'll bring you one of the final two practices in the Planning chapter. We've saved the best for last: Release Planning and Risk Management. I particularly like our treatment of these two topics. Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see one of those first.
