The Art of Agile Teams: Designing Roles and Responsibilities

Who belongs on an Agile team and what do they do? Agile teams are cross-functional and self-organizing. They involve business experts, programmers, testers, and other specialists working collaboratively to deliver a product. To be successful, you must combine skills and attributes to form a smooth-running team.

In this one-day course, you'll learn who to include on your Agile teams...and who not to include. You'll learn which skills are necessary, which are optional, and how to determine which are best for your project. You'll explore how individual attributes contribute to the self-organizing whole in an interactive and engaging environment.

Topics covered include:

  • Cross-functional, self-organizing teams
  • Team composition
  • Roles to fill
  • Responsibilities and what to expect
  • Choosing amongst varying Agile approaches
  • Cultivating agility

At the conclusion of this course, you will be prepared to build a successful Agile team, define roles and responsibilities for your project, and set expectations for team performance and deliverables.
